• Johnston Construction Company served as Prime Contractor for the leachate concentrator installation at Waste Management's Phoenix Resources Landfill in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, providing comprehensive civil, mechanical, piping, and electrical construction services.
• JCC coordinated preparation of the installation area and integration of owner-furnished leachate concentrator equipment, including the concentrator skid, flare skid, duct support structure, and cone-bottom concentrate tank.
• Furnished and installed new reinforced concrete equipment pads and containment walls, including modifications to the existing concrete load-out area to accommodate additional process equipment and drainage systems.
• Installed underground dual-contained high-density polyethylene (HDPE) drain piping, consisting of a 3-inch carrier pipe within a 6-inch containment pipe, extending from the new containment area to an existing manhole.
• JCC furnished and installed new leachate infeed and load-out pumping equipment, including associated valves, fittings, pressure connections, and mechanical accessories.
